FROM GROUP CHAT TO FIRST TEE

A social golf round without the runaround.

FairPlay keeps the agreement, scores and settlement together, so the fourball can concentrate on golf and the stories afterwards.

1. Set up the round

Choose the course, tee time, number of holes and scoring format. Add the agreed stake before anyone reaches the first tee. Every invited golfer can see the same round details, which removes the usual debate about what was agreed in the group chat.

2. Invite your fourball

Invite registered golfers or share the round with the people you play with. FairPlay keeps the player list attached to the game, so the organiser can see who has joined and who is still pretending not to have seen the message.

3. Use Handicap Index-fair scoring

Golf is more fun when players of different abilities can compete. FairPlay records the selected format and uses the Handicap Index for each player where the game requires net scoring. The rules remain visible throughout the round, and the score belongs to the whole game rather than one person’s scorecard.

4. Add side games

A main game can be joined by familiar challenges such as nearest the pin, longest drive or a custom fourball bet. Keep the wording specific: who is eligible, which hole or result decides it, and what the stake is. Clear rules preserve the banter without creating a post-round committee meeting.

5. Confirm and settle

At the end of the round, record the result and complete the confirmation flow. FairPlay keeps the activity and payout record together, giving every player a clear view of what happened. The winner may still repeat the story for months; the admin does not need to last that long.
